Zoe Rights: All it Takes is Love

I haven’t been my usual happy, perky self lately. Life’s been a little stressful and I tend to internalize.

Just some of the issues causing me grief….

I’ve reached that place in the semester where everything seems to speed up at a ridiculous rate. The semester just started, so how on earth can I possibly have three major papers, a presentation and two finals to prepare for? Where did the time go?

The California Department of Real Estate decided to schedule my real estate exam right in the middle of finals.

Last we have a new client and OH HOLY JESUS is he a pain the ass! Micro-managers have nothing on this guy.

Plus looking for a new house.

With all of that, it was nice to open my e-mail the other day and receive an invitation to a pre-release of The Blind Side last night. A free movie! A free anything always makes me very happy.

I wasn’t sure going into this movie. I’ll admit it seemed to be a little contrived. A rich family from the south takes in a homeless black boy from the ghetto and completely changes his life. Hmmm.

My goodness. It was great! Very schmoopy- one where you could feel tears well up in your eyes time and time again. Sandra Bullock was awesome!

If you go to movies on Thanksgiving- make this one your movie. It’s so good for the whole family.

Personally I feel at peace now and back to my normal self. It’s amazing how something as simple as a story can change your entire perspective on things.
