Candy Sushi!

>> 25 February 2010

I totally stole this recipe from my cousin---all credit goes to her!

Ingredients
6 cups rice crispy cereal
3 tablespoon stick butter
1 bag regular marshmallows
1 bag swedish fish
Redvines
Gummy worms
1 box fruit roll-ups (regular kind)

Make Rice Crispy Treats according to recipe but spread them thinly on a cookie sheet and allow to cool till soft set

To make Nigiri:
Lay a swedish fish short way up lined along the rice to determine how tall the rice will be
Cut a strip of rice to the right size and cut into bite size.
Lay a fish on each piece
Cut a piece of roll up to go around the rice and fish

To make rolls:
Lay strips of redvines and gummy worms on top of rice
Carefully roll the rice and insides forming a log type shape, cut rice when the edge touches.
Pinch ends together to seal the insides in. roll a few time to get that nice sushi roll look
Place sushi log on a cutting board,
Carefully saw (bc if you just smash cut through it squishes everything) the ends off to where the insides now show through the middle.
Measure the width of the roll-up to the log and cut.
After the log is cut wrap the roll-up around the edge of the roll.

ALWAYS make sure you test your creations and enjoy!
