Let Them Eat Cake...or Pie

>> 26 June 2010

I'm trying to cram in as much together time with the spawn as they can handle. Me, I can handle tons and tons. The teens, well, they need space. It's normal. Something about becoming a functioning adult, blah, blah, blah

Anyhoodle- so I'll be going back to work so I won't see them all day, everyday. Plus the Man-child is now seventeen and a half which means in six short months he'll have the backing of the government to avoid me AT ALL TIMES.

So we went to a movie and then here to Rick's Dessert Diner. I know you're jealous and I kinda like it.

At first we were distracted by the retro benches and cool art work

Then we got down to Business

But were swayed in the end

Mmmm! PIE. The cake wouldn't have stood a chance with me, baby! Pie all the way! A diner with nothing but dessert? What a slice of heaven you have there. Reminds me of my trip to Voodoo donuts. mmmm. Donuts.
