On Friday the youngest got the call. She got the job. Hallelujah Jesus and not a moment too soon!!!! But a job, a job, a real job. At Sunsplash!

On Saturday we went here
where they were serving incredibly, wonderful morsels from gourmet food trucks. Go here for more pictures.
I would love to tell you about all the delicacies we indulged in but truthfully there was sooooo many people we never made it to a single truck. Something like 10,000 people crammed in a teeny, tiny park a square block wide. Because we were slowly starving to death, we finally gave up and hit the Naked Lounge across the street.
Then we went home where I found this and this in the mailbox.
It's a tough call as to which I was more excited about. Sure the degree will stay with me forever but it's wine people- free wine. Better yet free wine sent IN THE MAIL. I'll tell you all about that very soon when I've had a chance to open the bottle and partake. I don't know what I'm waiting for either. Actually that's not true. I was waiting for...

Well truthfully it's the second one of these she's received in her lifetime.
I have to tell you the second marriage is a very different animal than the first. Everything changes. No longer is it your mother's wedding with set colors and flowers and wine toasts and cake in the face. This time it can be whatever you want. Scuba diving wedding- why not? Wedding at Half-dome- sure. Wedding in the park, on the beach, under a bridge, at a ball game. The possibilities are endless. Endless I tell you. Ennndddlllesss... wait but what if you don't know what you want?
Then to end the day here. One has an AP test in European History the other in AP Physics.
Why isn't summer here already???
